Blockbuster director-actor duo Kabir Khan-Salman Khan is set to be back after their superhit stint in 2015, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, for the upcoming film Tubelight Full Movie
Talking about the same, the National Award winning director said that this film is very different to the flicks he has made earlier. “Needless to say that my films always have political backdrops because these are the kind of stories that excited me. So, that’s always gonna be there. As far as story goes, it is very different to what I’ve done so far,” Kabir said.
He continued, “The film is on a territory that Salman and I have not ventured yet. So, we are excited about it.”
Though Salman and Zhu Zhu is playing the lead in the film, heroine is yet to be finalised. If sources are to be believed, Deepika Padukone was being considered for the role. The Bajirao Mastani star, however, denied having finalised on the role. Kabir said he will announce who the actor to be paired opposite Salman once it is decided.Tubelight Full Movie
The 50-year-old actor is present shooting in Manali for his upcoming film Tubelight, which is set in the backdrop of the 1962 Sino-Indian war. The epic war drama is Salman's third collaboration with director Kabir Khan after hit films like Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015).
